I received the attached email today from the Air France AF004 folks - who received it from CBC Radio, Gander. If anyone feels brave - or hankers after Newfoundland fame you may want to ring Trellawny. I know the time may have passed now, but who knows.
I emailed him (her?) anyway -- I'm too shy to be interviewed for radio :-). Hopefully Gambo'll get a mention - maybe the website will get a mention too - who knows?

Subject: Gander Newfoundland Says Hello
Hello!
I send my warmest greetings to all of you. My name is Trellawny Graham and I'm e-mailing you from the CBC Radio station in Gander, Newfoundland where many of you landed on that terrible day, September 11th.
This weekend, October 6-8, is our Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. I am hoping that this message reaches some of you in time for me to speak with you on the telephone this afternoon. I'm very interested hearing what you give thanks for this year. And it's my wish to record some of you telling me what you're thankful for.
I think hearing some of your voices would brighten the days of the people here in Newfoundland, who were more than happy to meet you, even though the circumstances were far from wonderful.
The time here now is 11:15 a.m., which is 9:45 a.m. EST, and it's 2:45 p.m. in the UK. It's Thursday, October 4th. I would very much like to hear from you.
If you'd like to call me, the number is (709)256-4311 or email spunkster_tg@yahoo.com
Sincerely,
Trellawny Graham
