Changing attitudes

Hi
Seems like I can’t stop posting at the moment...
We had a family of Canadians in the cave today, (Jan 1st 2002). If you don’t know, that’s the Mark Twain Cave in Hannibal MO.
Anyway we got to talking about Sept. 11th and all that stuff. The father told me they live down South in Calgary. Apparently before 7/11 they used to poke fun at Newfoundland and the Newfies. He then said that doesn’t happen any more because the rest of Canada realises that the Newfies have enhanced ‘all’ Canadians reputations round the world.
I think that’s quite a good thing to have happened.
Bob
