Christmas riddle
Contributed by bobsmith on: Saturday 15 December @ 03:51:37
...and then?OK.

Here’s a little riddle for you....

Since Sept 11th my wife no longer has to sew up holes in my trouser/pants pockets, why?

Well, before Sept 11th the only charity I ever gave to was the blind.

Now of course I can’t walk past a Sally Army box without unloading all my change. Or even a few notes on a good day. So no holes worn in my pockets any more.

One small problem with that though. This time of year, where I live the Sally Army is outside every store, bar, hospital and police station. It’s costing me a small fortune. Yes, I see less of the Police Station ones.

Still, it gives me a nice warm glow inside, knowing that all that change may someday help towards the SA being able to do for others what they did for us.

A very Merry Christmas to all at the Church and in Gambo, plus of course all my new, life long friends from UA 929.

With a bit of luck and a following wind, I'll see a few of you next year.

Take care, be happy

Bob
