 Hi fellow ex strandees
I've just got a wonderful fast satellite Internet connection. So what, I hear you ask.
The reason I tell you this is because it has enabled me, for the first time, watch all of Monty's video clips. Those postage stamp size, blurry, bad sound quality, mini master pieces.
I got all choked up all over again watching our eventual freedom from the plane on Ganders runway. Our trip to the Sally Army in Gambo. The Sanctuary. The dining/meeting hall. The chap playing the Ugly/hobbly/really-doesn't-matter-what-stick. Julian's epic songs. David, Terresa and the rest of the Newfies loving us. Us loving them. The camaraderie. The caring. The concern. The sadness/joy of our departure from Gambo. Landing 5 days late in Chicago.
Anyway, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed, learned and miss what we had for those few days in September last year.
